About LWV of the North Shore
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The North Shore League applies this approach locally, works with other league chapters for regional issues, and coordinates with the state and national leagues on larger topics. Our League is one of the oldest in the state, having formed in 1960.
